Whether you're burned out, feeling anxious about the future, or unclear on a big life decision, I'm here to support you. My approach is to create a safe space where you can express yourself freely, knowing that you will be heard without judgment.
Whether you're a highly sensitive person or a cerebral "over thinker", in our sessions, you'll learn to relate to your anxiety or discomfort in a non-judgmental way. I believe in promoting a holistic approach that allows for all your parts to show up and be seen, whether it's the embodied, emotional, intellectual or psychospiritual.
What We'll Work On
Mindful Awareness: Together, we'll explore mindfulness techniques that can help you observe your thoughts and emotions without getting caught up in them.
Acceptance: You'll learn to accept your feelings and experiences as they are, without trying to change or judge them.
Integration: By acknowledging all parts of yourself, you'll work towards a greater sense of wholeness and authenticity with practical tools. Let's make sure you feel supported holistically with your psychological, emotional, physical and, (if you want) spiritual well-being.
I'm eclectic in my approach and influenced by various modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Nature-Informed Therapy. I also pull from Jungian & Expressive arts techniques like image-based projection (ex. using Tarot, art cards), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions and Self-Compassion approaches in order to get in touch with your own "wise mind" and examine certain belief systems that trigger unhelpful behaviours.
Understanding your stress response is also an important step in healing - check out my blog on Polyvagal Theory.
