  • Lived experience transitioning careers: Graphic Designer/Videographer → Counselling Therapist.
  • Completed two x 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreats; maintain a regular mindfulness & yoga practice.
  • Spend regular time in nature (hiking, camping, grounding).
  • Lived and worked abroad in several countries.

  • Extensive volunteer experience in mental health, environmental advocacy, and community care. I volunteer at the Nova Scotia Health Authority hospitals supporting cancer patients as a Certified Level 2 Reiki Practitioner & as a  Member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (IARP). Disclaimer: This is separate from my counselling practice - Reiki is not a form of counselling or psychotherapy, and I do not provide Reiki services as part of my professional counselling work.
